A young man succumbed to his wounds in the Gaza march last Saturday

About 41 people who participated in the march and were wounded are still in critical condition.

Jerusalem24 – Osama Khaled Deaih, a young man in his twenties, died at dawn today, Wednesday, of wounds he sustained during his participation in the march organized on the eastern borders of Gaza City.

Deaih, a resident of the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, was critically wounded during the clashes that erupted between the Palestinian youth and the Israeli forces in the Malakah area, East of Gaza City.

Deaih received treatment at Al-Shifa Hospital, and an operation was performed on him in an attempt to save his life. His condition remained serious until his death today.

About 41 people who participated in the march and were wounded are still in critical condition.

Calls by Palestinian factions in protest of the Israeli siege have been made for today. It is expected the protest will march on the borders of the Southern Gaza Strip, in rejection of the continuing Israeli blockade.
