Weather forecast: Significant drop in temperature expected

The temperature will still remain slightly above the seasonal average

Jerusalem24 – Weather today is partly cloudy and mild in most districts and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley in daytime with a significant drop in temperature, which remains slight above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Weather tonight is partly cloudy and relatively cold, particularly in mountainous districts. Light to moderate northwesterly wind blows. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 24°C and a low of 12°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 23°C and a low of 11°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 19°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 14°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Thursday’s temperature is set to remain steady with partly cloudy and mild conditions in most districts and relatively cold conditions in the Jordan Valley in daytime. Relatively cold conditions are expected in nighttime, particularly in nighttime.

Friday’s temperature is set to rise and approach 6°C above the seasonal average, paving the way to clear to partly cloudy and warm to relatively hot in most districts and hot in the Jordan Valley. Slightly cold conditions are expected in the early morning and night hours.

An additional rise is expected in temperature which approaches 10°C above the seasonal average on Saturday, with mostly clear and hot to very hot conditions.
