Jerusalem24 – Weather today is mostly clear, dry and relatively hot in mountainous districts and hot in other districts in daytime with a slight drop in temperature, which approaches 6°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Weather tonight is partly cloudy and mild. Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly wind blows in daytime, and northwesterly wind blows in nighttime. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 14°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 26°C and a low of 13°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 33°C and a low of 20°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 17°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Thursday’s temperature is set to further drop, but remains unseasonably high, paving the way to partly cloudy to clear and relatively warm to mild conditions in daytime and slightly cold conditions in nighttime.
A cold front is set to affect the region on Friday, causing temperature to plummet to 6°C below the seasonal average and paving the way to partly cloudy to cloudy and cold conditions in mountains and relatively cold conditions in other districts. There is a chance for sporadic light rain, particularly in the north.
A further drop is expected in temperature which approaches 8 to 10°C below the seasonal average on Saturday, with partly cloudy to cloudy and cold conditions in mountains and relatively cold conditions in other districts. The chance remains for sporadic light rainfall in most districts.
