Jerusalem24 – Today, Sunday, Minister of Health Mai Al-Kaila announced the registration of 5 deaths, 906 new infections with the “Corona” virus, and 204 cases of recovery during the last 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kaila indicated that the five deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip.
She indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “Qalqilya 36, Nablus 226, Tulkarm 76, Tubas 36, Salfit 31, Jenin 45, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 6, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 64, Jerusalem suburbs 4, Bethlehem 5, Hebron 10, Gaza Strip.” Gaza 367.”
She added that the new cases of recovery were distributed as follows: “Qalqilya 17, Nablus 28, Tulkarm 21, Tubas 9, Salfit 1, Jenin 9, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 18, Jerusalem suburbs 2, Hebron 4, Gaza Strip 95.”
She also indicated that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 96.5%, while the percentage of active infections was 2.4%, and the death rate was 1.1% of the total infections.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 31 people infected with the “Corona” virus in intensive care rooms, while 96 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank, including 6 patients connected to artificial respirators.
With regard to the citizens who received vaccines, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 698,305, including 436,962 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
