7 wounded by live bullets and armed clashes in Jenin
Israeli forces also damaged the local Civil Defense headquarters
Jerusalem24 – Seven Palestinians were wounded, at dawn today, Monday, by live ammunition by Israeli forces, during their storming of Jenin city, which witness violent conflict between resistance fighters and the army.
The Israeli forces stormed the neighborhoods of Jabal Abu Zaheer and Al-Jabriyat in the city, in addition to raiding and several houses, and arresting young men known among them, including former detainee Mutassim Istiti.
Despite the spread of Israeli patrols and special units, Palestinian fighters launched numerous attacks on the forces, in several areas in the city, which later turned into violent clashes.
The city also witnessed confrontations between stone-throwers and soldiers, who opened fire, wounding 7 with live ammunition.
The Israeli soldiers opened fire on the local Civil Defense headquarters, damaging several vehicles with live ammunition, and the shooting destroyed the main electrical transformer on Jenin-Nablus Street.
