For the Fourth Consecutive Night Palestinians in Damascus Gate Attacked

Jerusalem24 – According to eyewitness accounts last night, Tuesday, Israeli forces attacked Palestinians and arrested a young man in the vicinity of Damascus Gate in occupied Jerusalem.

Videos surfaced on social media of Israeli forces physically assaulting and pushing Palestinians, before chasing the young men to the Wadi Al-Joz area. Rubber-coated metal bullets were fired towards the Palestinians, but no injuries were reported.

Local sources reported that the Israelis arrested two other young men from Nablus Street, in the vicinity of Damascus Gate.

While the Israeli police stated that 6 Palestinians were detained Tuesday night.

Since the beginning of the month of Ramadan, Palestinians gathered at Damascus Gate have been attacked by Israeli forces each night.
