Forbes 30 Under 30 Chef Talks to J24

Jerusalem24 – From selling sandwiches to his classmates to a professional chef and owner of 3 restaurants in Amman, Jordan, Jordanian chef Ali al-Gzawi, takes the Jordanian and Middle Eastern cuisines to the international arena.

Chef Ali, 29, is MBC Arabia’s Top Chef 2019, after beating 16 other contestants to become the show’s youngest-ever winner. Ali graduated from Les Roches Global Hospitality Education at the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts and later did his internship with Barcelona’s Enoteca by Paco Perez, a two-Michelin-star restaurant. He now runs Alee—a multi-concept F&B project in Jordan. It includes a culinary creative center that holds cooking demos and teaches culinary arts.
