Investigation into slain Palestinian by Israeli forces to be closed
Meanwhile, another officer requested a transfer from her patrol

Jerusalem24 – According to a report by the Israeli Reshet Kan channel last night, the special investigation unit known as the Mahsh is heading to close the investigation into a slain Palestinian.
The investigation was opened against the two officers who shot Mohammad Salima at the Masrara roundabout near the Damascus Gate in Occupied Jerusalem.
According to the channel, the two soldiers were interrogated as part of the investigations that open normally, and it is expected that they will be acquitted; followed by the closure of the file within days.
The two soldiers fired at Salima more than once despite him lying on the ground immobile. However, they continued to fire until he was killed.
Meanwhile, medical staff was not allowed to reach him to provide paramedic treatment.
Reshet Kan also reported that the female soldier, who was accompanied by another and had opened fire at the young man in the same incident, requested her commanders to transfer her from the Damascus Gate area; after private details about her were published yesterday.
