Today, the approval of a plan to build about 3,000 settlement units in the West Bank

Jerusalem24 – The Israeli Supreme Planning Council is scheduled to meet today, Wednesday, to approve a plan to build about 3,000 new settlement units in settlements on Palestinian lands in the West Bank.

According to the Arabic-speaking Israeli public broadcaster, Kan,“these units are within the previously announced plan,” noting that the Israeli government will finally approve it later.

Kan indicated that the Israeli government “will also approve the construction of 1,300 “units” for the benefit of the Palestinians in Area C.”

This is the first time that Naftali Bennett’s government, during Joe Biden’s tenure of power in the United States, has approved construction in settlements in the West Bank on a large scale.
