Israel approves 1000 Palestinian ID applications

Jerusalem24 – Today, Wednesday, the Head of the Public Authority for Civil Affairs, Minister Hussein Al-Sheikh, announced that Israeli has approved 1,000 applications for Palestinian ID cards and Passports. Including applicants from the northern governorates.

Al-Sheikh stressed that they are following up in order to complete the remaining names that were sent in the statements to the Israeli side in the coming days, which include identities, and changing the address, from all the governorates of the country.

He explained that the General Authority for Civil Affairs in all its directorates in the southern and northern governorates will be open from today, Wednesday, to deliver approval letters for the category announced above.

Alsheikh also called on citizens to head to the Civil Status offices of the Palestinian Ministry of Interior, to complete the procedures for issuing the Palestinian identity and passport.
