Journalist shot and a number of civilians suffocated in clashes in Deir al-Hatab

Jerusalem24 – A photojournalist was wounded by rubber coated steel bullets, and a number of civilians suffocated, during clashes with the occupation forces near Deir al-Hatab town, east of Nablus, yesterday, Wednesday.

Local sources reported that clashes erupted between young men and the Israeli forces on the bypass road near the towns of Deir al-Hatab and Salem, during which the Israeli soldiers fired rubber coatedbullets and tear gas canisters.

Photojournalist Nasser Shtayyeh was hit by a rubber coated steel bullet to the head and taken to hospital for treatment, while a number of citizens suffocated with gas.
