Israel tightens its measures in Jerusalem

The policy was taken to secure the settlers’ celebrations of their holidays

Jerusalem24 – This morning, Wednesday, the Israeli police reinforced the deployment of its forces in Jerusalem, especially the Old City and its surroundings, to ensure the continuation of the settlers’ celebrations of their holidays.

According to the Arabic-speaking Israeli public broadcaster, the procedures will be tightened today and tomorrow inside the Old City, due to the performance of the so-called “Prayers of blessings” at the Al-Buraq Wall plaza.

The broadcaster indicated that it was decided to prevent entry by private vehicles, and the only access to the place is allowed via public transportation.
