All activists arrested by Palestinian security forces in Ramallah Released

Jerusalem24 – Tuesday evening, the police released the last of the political detainees who had been arrested during the past four days, prior to the start of vigils in Ramallah, rejecting the political arrest and demanding justice for activist Nizar Banat.

The “Lawyers for Justice” group confirmed that the activist Omar Assaf, the former prisoner Khader Adnan, the activist Fadi Qaraan, and the former prisoner Louay al-Ashqar were released from the Palestinian Police Station in the al-Balou’ area in the city of al-Bireh, while lawyer Muhannad Karajah of the “Lawyers for Justice” group confirmed all detainees were released last night.

Earlier yesterday, Tuesday, the detainees were released: lawyer Muhammad Allan, activist Ibrahim Abu Al-Ezz, activist Basil Abu Hamda, activist and researcher Abi Al-Aboudi, while the Ramallah Magistrate’s Court decided to release all detainees who were arrested last Saturday evening, after referring their files to the court.
