Israeli officers physically assault Palestinian near Damascus gate

Jerusalem24 – Israeli officers physically assaulted a young Jerusalemite near Damascus Gate in Jerusalem, which necessitated his transfer to the hospital for treatment.

Local sources said that the soldiers assaulted the young man, Saadi Burqan, with pepper spray, and beat him before they threw him to the ground. after which of the soldiers crouched on his back and hand cuffed him, and took him to a police station.

They also pointed out that the police transferred Burgan, about two hours later, to Shaare Tzedek Hospital for treatment, without clarifying the nature of his injury.
