He also saw that handing over power to Biden constituted the beginning of the struggle of a team and his supporters to make America great again, but he considered that this step would end the greatest presidential term in the history of the United States.
This came, moments after the House and Senate approved the Democratic candidate winning the Electoral College votes, following a tumultuous night during which a violent crowd of pro-Trump rioters stormed the Capitol building.
The violence resulted in the death of one woman by police bullets and 3 others following a medical emergency, while the windows of the ancient building were smashed, while the mob forced lawmakers and their aides to hide, under the protection of the Capitol Police.
It is noteworthy that the protesters’ chaos began shortly after Trump repeated his criticism of the election results in front of thousands of gathered demonstrators who called them to Washington.
But more than six hours after the outbreak of violence, lawmakers resumed their session, and approved Biden’s victory, after the attack alarmed some Republicans, and therefore appeals were only filed against the votes of Arizona and Pennsylvania, but the two attempts were overwhelmingly lost.
