Suspects in Arab youth killing released

A police representative has told the court the suspects’ version of events has received a boost over the last few days of investigation.

Jerusalem24 – All four Jewish suspects in the fatal shooting of an Arab man in Lod earlier this week will be released under relatively lenient restrictive conditions, the Rishon Lezion Magistrate’s Court rules.

The four were previously remanded after arguing they shot the man in self-defense amid intense clashes and protests by Arabs in the Jewish-Arab city.

The court had decided on releasing them on bail and barring them from Lod for several days.
