Israel to start vaccinating Palestinian workers within days

Hebrew sources confirmed that the campaign to vaccinate Palestinian workers will be launched during the next few days.

Jerusalem24 – On Sunday, the political leadership in Israel approved the launch of a vaccination campaign for Palestinian workers who have a work permit in Israel and in settlements in the West Bank.

Hebrew sources confirmed that the campaign to vaccinate Palestinian workers will be launched during the next few days, expressing that the goal of providing vaccines to Palestinian workers comes within the framework of combating the outbreak of the Corona virus, preserving the health of the public and the continued performance of economic facilities.

The sources stated that the decision of the political level was based on the recommendation of the Coordinator of the Government of Israel and the Ministry of Health.

The Israeli “Channel Seven” stated that the campaign led by the Israeli Government Coordination Unit, the Central Command of the Israeli Army, the Ministry of Health and the Land Crossings Authority, will begin during the next few days, provided that it includes the establishment of special vaccination complexes in several crossings in the West Bank to vaccinate workers in Israel, in addition to more complexes for vaccinating workers in the settlements, which will be built in the industrial zones there.

Adding that in these complexes, workers will be vaccinated by Israeli medical teams with vaccines produced by Moderna, which have been allocated by the political level.

It stated that the full plan will be published in the coming days.
