New prison floor plans found on the Internet

Jerusalem24 – Israeli Channel 13 revealed, last night, that there is a new security breach in Israeli prisons, after the construction plans of the Shikma prison in Ashkelon were found on the internet, as were the plans for Gilboa prison.

According to the Israeli channel, the prison’s plumbing and sewage lines can be obtained by anyone via the internet, noting that this prison holds Palestinian prisoners and criminals.

Ashkelon municipality said that the prison building plans were published at the request of the Prisons service, and they were presented with the aim of renovating them in the future.

A spokeswoman for the Prisons Authority service that those plans were published with their consent, and that action was taken immediately by communicating with civil authorities to remove the plans.
