Jerusalem24 – Sky News Arabia reported that the number of Corona virus infections worldwide is close to 42.5 million, while the number of deaths from the virus that caused the Covid-19 epidemic has exceeded one million deaths.
A Reuters statistics showed that more than 42.4 million people, worldwide, were infected with the Coronavirus, while the total deaths resulting from the virus, which causes the Covid-19 epidemic, reached 1,146,185 deaths.
According to Reuters, since the first cases were discovered in Wuhan, central China, in December 2019, infections have been recorded in more than 210 countries and regions.
The United States is the country most affected by the emerging corona virus, with more than 8.5 million infections, while the number of deaths reached 224,128.
India ranks second in terms of injuries and third in terms of deaths, with more than 7.8 million injuries and 117,956, while Brazil ranked third with a total of 5,353,656 injuries and second in terms of deaths, with 156,471 deaths.
