Israeli forces storm Palestinian refugee camp in Al-Bireh

More than 30 vehicles involved in the raid

Jerusalem24 – More than 30 Israeli military vehicles have raided the Al-Amari Refugee Camp in Al-Bireh, Israeli special forces were also involved.

Several Israeli vehicles and soldiers had closed the main roads surrounding the camp while other forces entered the Al-Amari camp itself. Clashes between the youth and the Israeli military were reported. According to several journalists in the field, Israeli special forces were also reported to be participating in the operation. Eyewitness reports state that the soldiers had broke into several homes in the refugee camp. Among the houses broken into was the home of Aymen Abu Arab, a leading member of the Fatah movement.

Several injuries were reported after the resulting clashes, ten were caused by live ammunition, two were caused by rubber-coated-steel bullets in addition to cases of suffocation due to the firing of tear gas canisters.
