A Palestinian shepherd was physically assaulted by settlers near Masafer Yatta
Jerusalem24 – Today, Tuesday, a shepherd was injured in a settler attack, in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
The coordinator of the Protection and Sumud Committee in Masafer Yatta, Fuad al-Amour, reported that the settlers of “Yacoub Talia”, which is built on citizens’ lands south of Hebron, stormed the pastures in the village of Lasifer in Masafer Yatta, and beat the young, Othman Abu Qubaita, while he was grazing his sheep on his land. As a result, he sustained head injuries and bruises all over his body, after which he was taken to hospital for treatment.
Yesterday, the armed settlers of “Yacoub Talia” attacked the herdsmen in the aforementioned village, preventing them from grazing their livestock on their lands, and forcing them to leave it.
It is worth noting that the Israeli forces isolated the village of Lasifer, inhabited by the Abu Qubaita family, behind the section of the separation wall, and seizing the Palestinian lands, and forced them to move between their village and neighboring towns through a barrier erected on the section of the wall.
