Widespread Popular Anger: 9 Syrians killed in Israeli Bombardment of Daraa.

Jerusalem24 – Nine Syrians were killed and others were injured on Thursday at dawn as a result of the Israeli attack on the Al-Jabiliyah Dam Forest, located between the city of Nawa and the town of Tasil, west of Daraa south of the country.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), citing the Daraa Governorate, reported that nine civilians were killed and others injured as a preliminary toll following the Israeli occupation forces’ shelling of the Al-Jabiliyah Dam Forest

The ministry noted that there is a state of alert and widespread popular anger following this massacre, especially in light of the first time that the Israeli occupation forces have infiltrated this deep into the area.

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the latest wave of Israeli aggression against Syria, considering it a flagrant violation of international law and the sovereignty of the Syrian Republic.

It called on the international community to take a firm stance and pressure Israel to halt its aggression and abide by international law and its commitments. It also urged the United Nations and all relevant international bodies to take immediate action to halt this escalation and prevent further violations.

Last night, the occupation’s air force launched airstrikes on five different areas across Syria, resulting in the near-total destruction of Hama Military Airport and the injury of dozens of civilians and military personnel.
