Jerusalem quarterly report: Four killed by Israeli forces, over 500 injured

Jerusalem24 – The quarterly report of the Jerusalem Governorate shows that four Palestinians (26-year-old Yazan Afaneh; 23-year-old Mohammed Abu Juma’a, 36-year-old Mohammad Ali Abu Kafia, and 21-year-old Mohammad Al-Shaham) were shot and killed by Israeli forces in occupied East Jerusalem and its surrounding villages in the last three months.

During the same period, over 500 were injured by tear gas inhalation, beatings, and rubber-coated metal bullets, including a large number of children.

The report also reveals that 607 Palestinian Jerusalemites were arrested by Israeli authorities and 51 were given prison sentences, while 45 – including many children – were placed under house arrest.

Israeli courts also issued 24 so-called administrative detention orders, which is arbitrary detention without charge or trial.

The Jerusalem governorate also recorded over 120 attacks by Israeli settlers on Palestinian persons and property, including 30 physical assaults.

Over 80 structures, including residential houses, buildings and other facilities, were demolished; and over 100 notices of demolition were handed to homeowners and commercial establishments across the occupied city, during the reporting period.
