The Shin Bet Arrests 4 Palestinians Claiming They Were Recruited by Hezbollah for Iran

Jerusalem24 – The Israeli “Shin Bet” announced the arrest of 4 Palestinians inside the Green Line, in cooperation with the police and the army, on the pretext that they had been recruited by the Lebanese Hezbollah, to spy for Iranian intelligence.
According to a statement by the Shin Bet, the detainees are Israeli nationals, and indicated that Sultan Atallah (55 years old) and Rami Shami (35 years old) met in Turkey with members of Hezbollah involved in smuggling drugs to Israel, and they were asked to smuggle weapons, and they contacted others to help them.
The statement added that the arrests took place last February, and investigations revealed that the detainees inspected the border areas to find smuggling routes, and a weapon was found in their possession, and they also planned to establish a cell for Hezbollah.
An indictment will be filed against them stating that the detainees “conspired to commit crimes for the benefit of a foreign organization, provide services to a terrorist organization, and attempt to smuggle weapons.”
