One Israeli soldier killed, 13 Palestinians wounded in Jenin raid

Jerusalem24- The Israeli military launched a large-scale attack on Jenin refugee camp on Friday morning, resulting in what residents described as the most intense fighting seen in Jenin since 2002 during the 2nd Intifada.

Israeli forces besieged the house of the Al-Dabai family, retreating two hours later when Mahmoud Al-Dabai voluntarily turned himself in.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported Ibn Sina hospital in Jenin treated a total of 13 injuries to Palestinians, ranging from light to severe. Multiple civilian properties also incurred damage including the house of Al-Dabai family which caught fire after Israeli forces targeted it with an RPG.

The Israeli Border Police announced on the same day that a member of their elite Yamam Unit was killed during the attack. 47-year-old Noam Raz was lifted to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa but later died of his wounds. Raz was part of the elite unit for 23 years, and specialized in raiding and sniping.
