Jerusalem24 – This morning, Thursday, the Israeli army announced the call-up of 6 reserve battalions to operate along the line of contact with the West Bank, instead of the regular forces.
According to Israel Channel Seven, the decision was taken after an assessment of the situation by the Israeli army command, noting that it will be published within at least 3 weeks, and that is an exceptional decision by its Chief of Staff Aviv Kohavi.
These forces will serve instead of the regular forces that spread along the line of contact after the recent operations, to secure the dam, and to maintain the continuation of operational operations and training among the regular forces, according to the same source.
