Settlers to Hold the Flags March in Jerusalem Despite Police Refusal

Jerusalem24 – The Israeli police refused, on Tuesday evening, to grant a permit to hold the annual flag march that Zionist organizations intend to hold in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, today, Wednesday.

The Israeli newspaper “Yediot Aharonot” reported that the Israeli police informed the organizers of the march that it refuses to grant them a permit to hold the march in light of the announcement of its route inside the Old City before obtaining the necessary permits from it.

The police indicated that “the march that will pass through Bab al-Silsilah and other areas in the Old City is not authorized and will not give it the necessary protection.”

The organizers of the march announced that it would be organized despite the Israeli police’s decision, starting at five in the evening on Wednesday.
