Storming, Assaulting, & Preventing Palestinians from Al-Aqsa
Jerusalem24 – Israeli Occupation forces assaulted and prevented worshippers from entering the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, after storming it this morning prior to the Fajir/Dawn prayer.
The forces threw rubber bullets and stun grenades in the Bab Hutta neighborhood.
The Red Crescent in Jerusalem said that its crews dealt with 17 injuries during the assaults, and 5 of them were taken to hospital.
On the situation in Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Omar Al-Kiswani, director of Al-Aqsa, said that the forces turned Al-Aqsa into a military barracks.
Sheikh Omar added that the forces were throwing rubber bullets at the trapped people inside the Al-Qibli prayer hall through the windows they broke last Friday.
Al-Kiswani added that the forces cut the wires of the external speakers after calls were made by the youths to come to Al-Aqsa.
He added that groups of settlers are storming Al-Aqsa in the meantime in the form of successive groups.
The Islamic endowment said that more than 545 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque since the morning, in addition to 218 tourists.
