Jerusalem24 – The Israeli Occupation Court issued a decision to freeze the evacuation of the homes of citizens in “Kabaniya Umm Haroun” in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem, until the third of next June, or until another decision is issued against the homes that settlers claim to own the lands on which they have been built.

This is another case that settlers filed against Sheikh Jarrah’s families to displace them from their homes, in addition to another case for eight homes whose residents are awaiting a verdict to evacuate them for the benefit of the settlers.

This is the second decision issued by the occupation courts within 24 hours. Yesterday, they decided to postpone their decision regarding Palestinian families threatened with eviction from their homes in the neighborhood in favor of settlement associations.

The approximately 500 residents of 27 homes in Sheikh Jarrah are facing decisions to evacuate their homes in several cases filed by settlers against the Jerusalemites who live there.
