Israeli soldier shot and wounded while securing settlers’ storming of Joseph’s Tomb

Jerusalem24 – Violent confrontations erupted between young men and the Israeli forces in separate areas of Nablus, in the northern Occupied West Bank, during an Israeli raid of the city to secure the settlers’ storming of Joseph’s Tomb.

Local sources said that the youths rained Molotov cocktails and stones on the Israeli soldiers, who responded by firing tear gas and flash bangs, which led to suffocation injuries.

The sources said that Palestinian fighters opened fire at the Israeli soldiers, wounding one of them, who was later transported in a military medical vehicle. The Israeli army, accompanied by settlers, withdrew from the vicinity of Joseph’s Tomb at an early time after Palestinians fired at the soldiers.
