Jerusalem24 – The Ministries of Health and Education announced the completion of preparations to launch a vaccination campaign targeting a quarter of a million school students in the tenth, eleventh and twelfth grades in the West Bank and Gaza, starting next Monday.
This came during a meeting held at the Ministry of Health building in Ramallah, which included Health Minister Mai Al-Kaila, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education Basri Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health Wael Al-Sheikh and a number of general managers in the two ministries.
The two ministries indicated that the vaccination will be in public and private schools, according to special administrative, technical and health arrangements.
It is noteworthy that the process of vaccinating students for the aforementioned grades falls within the framework of the Cabinet’s decision in particular, and in line with the standards approved by the World Health Organization.
