They also connected them to electricity.
Jerusalem24 – Israeli settlers escalated their attacks yesterday, and set up a settlement outpost in the lands of Deir Istiya town, expelled farmers from their lands in Salfit, set fire to dozens of trees in Burin village, and threw stones at citizens’ vehicles east of Qalqilya, while the Israeli army continued its military maneuvers in Khirbet Ibziq in the northern Jordan Valley, forcing 8 families to leave their homes.
The mayor of Deir Istiya, Saeed Zeidan, said that settlers have set up two mobile homes in the Harikat Abu Zuhair area, located to the west of the town. In turn, local sources said that the settlers kept erecting the two mobile homes by carrying out razing works in the area during the night, and connecting them to electricity. They emphasized that the area is constantly being stormed by settlers from the settlements of “Yakir” and “Hafat Yair”, which are located on the citizens’ lands.
In the same governorate, settlers expelled farmers from their lands. In a statement, the Settlement and Wall Resistance Commission said that settlers expelled farmers from their lands in the Jabal al-Ras area, west of the city of Salfit.
