Israel eases restrictions on goods for Gaza

Jerusalem24 – Israel has begun easing the restrictions on goods into the Gaza strip, some of the restrictions have been lifted immediately and others will be lifted place in the coming days.

This morning, the Israeli authorities allowed the entry of 10 trucks loaded with car spare parts, kiosks and imported motors, after they had refrained from doing so since the last aggression.

The Presidential Committee for Coordination of Goods stated that it had been informed that it was officially allowed to import and export various goods and commodities, starting next Thursday.

The committee pointed out that building materials will be allowed to enter the private sector and humanitarian projects, and all products that were exported before May 9 (with the start of the aggression) will be allowed to be exported.

The Israeli authorities also handed over 2,000 permits to the Civil Affairs Authority, which in turn handed them over to the chambers of commerce in the Gaza Strip governorates to distribute them to merchants who were allowed to enter after the approval of the Israeli intelligence, and to submit papers related to the laboratory examination of the Corona virus.
