Jerusalem24 – Next Wednesday, the Israeli Knesset will elect a new president for Israel to succeed the current president, Reuven Rivlin, whose term ends after seven consecutive years.
According to the Israel Broadcasting Corporation, “the former leader of the Labor Party, head of the Jewish Agency, Yitzhak Herzog, and Miriam Peretz, who specializes in education, are competing for this position.”
