Palestinian Killed by Israeli Forces in Jericho

Jerusalem24 – The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 20-year-old Ahmed Ibrahim Oweidat,  succumbed to critical wounds caused by live ammunition to the head fired by Israeli forces, at dawn today, in Aqabat Jaber Refugee Camp, south of Jericho.

Last night, three young men were shot, one of whom was seriously injured, when an Israeli special force stormed the Aqabat Jaber Refugee camp, south of Jericho.

Eyewitnesses reported that special forces disguised in civilian clothing infiltrated the camp and kidnapped a young man, before clashes erupted, resulting in the injury of 4 young men.

At dawn today, Tuesday, the occupation forces launched a campaign of raids in various areas in the occupied West Bank, during which several citizens were arrested.

The region of Jericho and the Jordan Valley is adhering to a general strike today, called upon by the Fatah movement, mourning Oweidat’s killing.
