Israeli Football Star “Disappointed” by Arab Athletes
Eran Zehavi attacked Arab players for not condemning recent attacks.
Jerusalem24 – The star of the Israeli national team sent a message to the WhatsApp team and expressed his feelings that the players from the Arab sector playing in the national team did not condemn the attacks in which 11 civilians were killed last week.
Israeli Football Star, Eran Zehavi, who plays on the National Football team directed sharp criticism toward Arab football players in Israel following recent attacks in Israel. In a leaked Whatsapp message received by Channel 14, Zehavi said he was, “very disappointed with the players in the sector who did not condemn the attack.”
His message sparked drama within the Israeli National Football team. Captain of the team, Bibras Natcho, demanded that Avi Levy, the team manager close the team’s WhatsApp group.
