Jerusalem24 – WAFA – Palestine and Niger’s foreign ministers today discussed in a meeting in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, expanding cooperation between their countries, mainly in the health sector.

Palestine’s Foreign Minister Riyad Malki and Niger’s Hassoumi Massoudou met on the sideline of the 48th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held in Islamabad.

While Malki thanked Massoudou for his country’s support for Palestine at the United Nations, the OIC and other international forums, Niger’s foreign minister reiterated his country’s principled support for the Palestinian cause, which he said was a priority for his country.

The two officials invited the other to visit their country and agreed to continue cooperation and coordination on all levels to defend Palestinian rights, mainly ending the Israeli occupation and establishing the independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
