Israeli settlers attack Palestinians in Hebron

The settlers tried closing roads and attacking at least one home.

Jerusalem24 – Last night settler attacks against Palestinians spiked in the city of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.

Dozens of Israeli settlers gathered on Bypass Road No. 60 East of Hebron throwing stones at Palestinian vehicles passing by. According to WAFA, the settlers gathered near the Al-Hawar area near the bypass road and were throwing stones under the protection of the Israeli military.

Anti-settlement activist, Aref Jaber said that dozens of settlers tried to break into a house belonging to Younis Aqel, which is adjacent to the bypass road.

They also gathered near the Ibrahimi Mosque and the Kiryat Arba settlement built on Palestinian lands East of Hebron. There they threw stones at Palestinians and their properties and tried to prevent them from using the bypass road.
