Israeli forces close main gate of Palestinian secondary school

Jerusalem24 – Today, Monday, Israeli forces closed the main gate of the Al-Sawiya Al-Lubban Mixed Secondary School, South of Nablus.
Ghassan Daghlas, the official in charge of the settlement file in the northern West Bank, told the Official Palestinian News Agency Wafa, “The occupation authorities closed the school gate located on the road between Ramallah and Nablus, using oxygen welding, and forced the students to take other ways to reach the second gate.”
He added, “the school students are subjected to repeated harassment and attacks by the occupation soldiers, who are deployed in the area on a permanent basis.”
For his part, the school Principle, Yasser Ghazi, said that 420 male and female students from the villages of al-Lubban al-Sharqiya, al-Sawiya, and Amouriya faced great difficulty in entering their school from the other gate. Because of the rehabilitation work on the road leading to it, which the occupation stopped working on since last Thursday.
Later, a settler parked his car at the entrance to the school, in a provocative move, under the protection of the Israeli military.
