20 deaths, 2353 new cases of Corona, and 1956 recoveries

209 cases in ICU with 67 on artificial respirators

Jerusalem24 – Today, Thursday, Minister of Health Mai Al-Kaila announced that 20 deaths, 2,353 new cases of the “Corona” virus, and 1956 recoveries were recorded during the last 24 hours.

In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kailah stated that 11 deaths were recorded in the West Bank: “Tulkarm 3, Nablus 4, Jenin 1, Hebron 2, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1”, 7 deaths in the Gaza Strip, and two deaths in the city of Jerusalem.

The report indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: Tulkarm 119, Nablus 297, Qalqilya 42, Jenin 199, Tubas 56, Hebron 238, Jerusalem suburbs 29, Salfit 31, Bethlehem 60, Jericho and Al Aghwar 11, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 129. Gaza Strip 1081, Jerusalem 61.

Al-Kaila added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: Tulkarm 120, Nablus 266, Qalqilya 130, Jenin 231, Tubas 26, Hebron 416, Jerusalem suburbs 31, Salfit 31, Bethlehem 120, Jericho and Al Aghwar 18, Ramallah and Al Bireh 141, Sector Gaza 265, Jerusalem 161.

She also indicated that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 89.6%, while the rate of active infections reached 9.3%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.

Regarding the health conditions of the injured, the Minister of Health pointed out that there are 209 patients with corona in intensive care rooms, including 67 connected to artificial respirators, while 690 patients are treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank.

As for the citizens who received vaccinations, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 8,3822, of whom 9,395 received the two doses of the vaccine.
