Israeli authorities demolish Al-Araqib for the 185th time

The Israeli authorities continue to demolish the village of Al-Araqib since 2000, in their repeated attempts to push the villagers into frustration and despair and displace them from their lands.

Jerusalem24 – The Israeli authorities demolished, this morning, Thursday, the homes of the people of Al-Araqib village, deprived of recognition and threatened with uprooting and displacement in the Negev region, for the 185th time in a row.

In the early hours of the morning, Israeli forces stormed the village of Al-Araqib, besieged it and displaced its people in the open despite the cold weather, and provided escorts for bulldozers and four-wheel defense vehicles that demolished tents, as the demolition process comes 48 hours after the 24th Knesset elections.

Before the elections for the Knesset, scheduled for March 11, the Israeli authorities demolished homes and tents in Al-Araqib village.

This is the fourth time that the Israeli authorities have demolished tin houses and tents for the people of Al-Araqib since the beginning of this year 2021 until today, while the people re-erect them every time from wood and nylon cover to protect them from the bitter cold in the prevailing atmosphere and despite the Corona pandemic.
