Elderly landowners injured during settler takeover of Palestinian land

Jerusalem24 – Israeli settlers today seized a large tract of privately-owned Palestinian land in the village of Al-Khader south of Bethlehem, according to the village’s mayor Ibrahim Mousa.

According to Mousa, the landowners, both in their 60s, tried to repel the settler takeover but were attacked by Israeli military forces which resulted in injuries to the both of them.

Mousa added that the settlers have set up a canopy on the 60 dunum land area as a prelude to the establishment of a new colonial outpost.

The land is already flanked by the settlement of Neve Daniel and outpost of Sde Boaz.
