27 Palestinians wounded by Israeli forces during protests

Jerusalem24 – Dozens of Palestinians were injured by the Israeli forces during protests in the towns of Deir Sharaf and Burqa, yesterday evening.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, 27 Palestinians were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets and asphyxiated by tear gas, when Israeli forces attacked a Palestinian protest in the towns of Deir Sharaf, north of Nablus, and the town of Burqa, in the northwest.

The Palestinians in Deir Sharaf and Burqa were organizing a protest as hundreds of Israeli settlers were organizing a march towards the evacuated illegal settlement of Homesh. Earlier yesterday, the Israeli occupation had closed down all entrances to the town.
