Israeli forces kill 14-year old boy

Jerusalem24 – The Ministry of Health last night announced the death of a 14-year old child, Muhammad Rizk Shehadeh Salah as a result of the Israeli forces’ shooting in the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem.
Shehadeh was shot by the Israelis during clashes that erupted in the town of Al-Khader before they arrested him, while he was seriously injured.
Activist Ahmed Salah reported that demonstrations took place in the Bakush area, west of the town, between the youths and the Israeli forces, who fired live ammunition which led to the killing. The Israeli forces prevented the Red Crescent ambulance crew from reaching him.
Later, another young man was injured by a rubber-coated metal bullet, and several civilians suffocated. Protests renewed against the Israeli forces in the Al-Nashash area at the southern entrance to the town, following the announcement of Shehadeh’s death.
The factional coordination committee in the Bethlehem governorate announced in a statement a general strike in all walks of life, except for the health sector, tomorrow, Wednesday, in mourning for Shehadeh.
