Israeli settlers fence off plot of land in Sheikh Jarrah

The owner of the land has been there since 1948

Jerusalem24 – Israeli settlers today fenced off a piece of land with barbed wire in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, in occupied Jerusalem.

The WAFA News Agency’s correspondent reported that the settlers stormed the neighborhood and laid the wires around the plot.

Local resident Ibrahim Salem said that they were surprised this morning when a group of settlers laid barbed wire on land he owned across the street from his home. When they tried to confront them, they attacked him and his mother.

He also mentioned that the Israeli authorities handed him a notice to vacate his home by the end of the month.

Salem’s home has an area of 200 square meters and is inhabited by 11 people, and that his family has been living there since 1948.
