Scores gather in Nablus to mourn Palestinian slain by Israeli forces

3 others were wounded and another two were hit by an Israeli military vehicle.

Jerusalem24 – Today, Monday, Nablus, the body of the 31-year-old Jamil Al-Kayyal, who was killed by a bullet to the head by the Israeli military at midnight last night.

Al-Kayyal was shot after the Israeli forces stormed the Ras Al-Ain area in Nablus to arrest another Palestinian.

He was transferred to the Nablus Specialized Hospital in critical condition, and doctors there would later announce his death. According to the head of the Ambulances and Emergency services at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, Al-Kayyal was shot in the head, while 3 other young men were wounded and two others were hit by an Israeli military vehicle.

According to eyewitnesses, armed clashes and violent confrontations took place between a group of young men and the Israeli military with raided the area to carry out the arrest of a Palestinian in the area.

Today, Palestinian mourners carried Al-Kayyal’s body and processed through the old city of Nablus to his family’s home. There they gave him his final farewells before being buried in the eastern cemetery.
