The Israeli Occupation demolishes agricultural rooms in Nahalin, west of Bethlehem
Jerusalem24 – The Israeli occupation forces demolished This morning, Tuesday, 5 agricultural rooms and retaining walls in the town of Nahalin, west of Bethlehem.
Local sources reported that large forces of the occupation army, accompanied by bulldozers, stormed the areas of ‘Sabihah’, ‘Hareka alshamalya’, and ‘al-Kilo’ area East and North Nahalin, and began demolishing the agricultural rooms established in the area under the pretext of not having a permit.
The sources indicated that the occupation forces attacked the people in the area, and it is expected that more agricultural rooms will continue to be demolished in the aforementioned areas during the coming period, as the occupation forces and bulldozers are still present in the area, amid the gathering of large numbers of people in an attempt to prevent the occupation forces to continue the demolition process.
Nahalin suffers from the problem of forced shrinkage in the area of its lands due to the policy of land confiscation pursued by the occupation authorities, as more than 97% of the lands of the historic village were confiscated for various purposes, while the settlements surrounding it continue to expand in the remaining lands.
