Jerusalem24 – Israeli settlers have stormed the northern neighborhoods of Al-Bireh today, writing racist and anti-Arab “Price-Tag” slogans on the walls and vehicles of Palestinians in the neighborhood.
Price-Tag, is an Israeli group that had organized attacks against Palestinians and their communities. The acts of random violence committed by the group generally follow actions by Israeli that are perceived as harming the settlement enterprise. The term refers to actions carried out by Israeli settlers against Palestinians and their property. These include throwing stones at Palestinian cars, the torching of Palestinian fields and orchards, as well as the destruction and uprooting of trees belonging to Palestinians.
Israeli forces stormed the neighborhoods during the day, closing off roads and taking over the rooftops of buildings. The Israeli military claimed they are there to investigate the settler attack against the Palestinians.
This the third time in two years that the Israeli military enters Al-Bireh, with claims to investigate settler attacks against the residents, with no results coming from said investigations.
