Israel arrested the head of the Committee for the Care of Islamic Cemeteries in Jerusalem

Jerusalem24 – Israeli forces, Tuesday morning, arrested the head of the Islamic Cemetery Care Committee in Jerusalem, Haj Mustafa Abu Zahra, and took him for interrogation.

Eyewitnesses said that a force of the Israeli police and intelligence arrested Abu Zahra from the Al-Masara neighborhood opposite of Damascus Gate in the occupied city of Jerusalem, where he owns a store that sells food supplies.

The lawyer of the Islamic Cemetery Care Committee, Muhannad Jabara, stated that Israel is subjecting Hajj Mustafa Abu Zahra to investigation in the so-called “4 rooms” in the Moskoubiya prison in Jerusalem.

Jabara stated that Abu Zahra went to the Yusufiyah cemetery in the morning to check whether the occupation authorities had resumed the bulldozing work they were carrying out in the Yusufiya cemetery, noting that Abu Zahra sent him a message.

The message, Abu Zahra confirmed that in the vicinity of the cemetery he saw teams belonging to the Israeli municipality in Jerusalem. And the so-called “nature authority”, which is likely to resume excavations there.
