Tens of eviction orders given to commercial shops in Taybeh and Qalanswa
Shop owners say this can cause economic disaster
Jerusalem24 –The Israeli “Regional Planning and Building Committee” issued eviction orders for dozens of shops in the cities of Taybeh and Qalansuwa in Israel, under the pretext of building on lands known to be non-industrial.
According to what was reported by the Arabic news website, Arabs 48, at least 30 shop owners, from Taybeh and Qalansuwa received eviction orders to be implemented in up to 30 days. Otherwise each shop owner will be fined 600,000 shekels.
The owners of targeted shops stressed that these eviction orders are considered a disaster and that hundreds of families will live from these shops, and harming them will push them into the unemployment, and will cause an economic disaster for the entire region.
